The Saint-Pierre district – historic heart of Bordeaux – gladly welcomes us into its old cobbled streets with its decorated facades, like a well hidden secret somewhere behind the imposing Place de la Bourse. A veritable hub, it brings together some of the most beautiful squares – the Place du Parlement, Place du Palais and Place Saint-Pierre – and neighbourhood shops and the best restaurants and bars in Bordeaux. Its pedestrian streets bear witness to the old artisan and commercial activities in this district. And it all gravitates around the Saint Pierre square and its church, one of the oldest in the city. An air of Dolce Vita, right in the center of Bordeaux, that’s Saint-Pierre!
