Place de la Bourse & Miroir d’eau

Emblem of Bordeaux and known throughout the world, the Place de la Bourse and its water mirror contribute to the flourishing of the city and shows its spirits. Inaugurated in 1749, this square with façades decorated with masks and ironwork is an example of classical French architecture that breaks with that of medieval Bordeaux. It hosts in its center the Fountain of three Graces. Photographed from every angle from morning to evening, the reflection of Place de la Bourse faces both the Garonne river and opens its shadowy streets that leads into the heart of the city.
